Further Information
Our session celebrated its first "birthday" in June 2012. It is composed of beginner/intermediate level dancers who are enthusiastic about Israeli dance.
We do circle, line, and some partner dances in our repertoire, and we are continuing to introduce new dances, as the dancers advance in their skills.
We also have a repertoire group that demonstrates the dances at our synagogue.
For partner dances, partner rotation is our policy. "Booking ahead" or bringing permanent partners is not part of our etiquette.
For dance parties, we enforce partner switching, and if someone does not have a partner we do not start the music until the person has one.
