I made this dance for my granddaughter. Her name is Liya. 

I choreographed the dance the way I make all my dances - I got inspired by the music because the song has Hasidic and Oriental melodies together, which is unusual. 

If the music speaks to me, I create; if the music does not speak to me, I do not create.  There is only one dance I created without music, and that is Debka Oud.  Most of my dances come from the influence of the music. I do not create for commercial purposes.  I create for me. I have been making dances for forty-five years
